A friend of mine (The Mad Engineer) writes to me and says,
I just saw something really cool today, and I was wondering i you had ever heard of it. So the 11 o'clock mass at my parish here is always sung. Today, right before the presentation of the gifts, the cantor got up and sang the dates of the moveable feast days for the next liturgical year. Do you know if it was standard to do this on Epiphany?
I had to admit my ignorance, as I have never heard of this, and have never been to a chanted Mass on Epiphany. Nor do I know what the name of this would be, so I am having difficulty looking it up. Has anyone out there in readerland ever heard of this?

Heard of it but never seen it.
