I think if you can present the teaching of the church as "a living system spreading from a single root and inspired by a single essence" or show the church to be as rationale as Belloc sometimes describe it, you likely don't need to read much of that article.
Don't get me wrong, I think the church's teachings make sense, and some preachers seem quite rational, but I don't know if I could present the church's teachings in a way that fits Belloc's description of them. Then there's something called mysteries on top of that.
