Hey Al, here are some Catholics against Rudy links - 'Anti-Rudy Catholics Plan Their "Assault"' (my scare
quotes) and a Catholics Against Rudy blog (is Dismas Mr. Dillard from Southern Appeal?) that doesn't seem to have started yet.
Yeah, I haven't exactly decided whom I want to be our next president yet, but Giuliani has made it easy for me to say no to him. Just like Kerry, only worse. At least Kerry seems to have had the (poor) excuse of being utterly clueless about Catholicism, whereas Giuliani doesn't seem to be under the impression that Pope Pius XXIII [sic] and the Vatican II [sic] endorse pro-culture of death politicians. Anyway, since it's not un-PC to bash on a Republican, and Republicans aren't supposed to get their feewings hurt just because people don't like them, does that mean we don't have to be so nice to him?
I wonder if I'd be able come up with anything as good as the Bizarro Theory of John Kerry. Maybe the Bizarro Rudy is against abortion and torture and he's the one we want for the Republican nominee instead.

is Dismas Mr. Dillard from Southern Appeal?
From his Blogger profile I'd say that he certainly is, but it's best not to mention that too loud. I get the feeling he wants to blog pseudonymously but failed to excise identifying portions of his profile (such as him being shown as the sole Blogger on the Steve Dillard blog). Of course Catholics Against Rudy isn't really live yet so he may be planning to prune his profile, or deny the public access to it altogether, when he really starts blogging.

Never mind about the not mentioning it too loud stuff. I should have read the article. You can't get more loudly mentioned than a newspaper, can you? Still, I wonder why he chose Dismas as his handle if he didn't want to be pseudonymous...

Hey guys. The answer for the "Dismas" profile is that I played around for a spell with the idea of blogging anonymously, and then decided against it. I secured the "Catholics Against Rudy" blogspot address to make sure that someone else didn't get it and create confusion with the .com website.
Thanks for mentioning the article, and please pray for this project.
