Drudge has linked to an article speculating Blair might be converting to the original Church of England after he steps down...
Apparently, these speculations are nothing new...but it would be pretty cool. I'd volunteer to be his sponsor!

Why? Other than his whole-hearted support for the Iraq war (which is, if relevant at all, a strike against him), he's no different than John Kerry or Ted Kennedy. Is it really cool to have more pro-abort and pro-gay marriage Catholic pols?

I'm assuming that rigorous catechesis would take care of his problematic ideological.
But I'd be just as delighted to hear that either Kerry or Kennedy had genuine conversions of heart. That's what we are supposed to pray for, after all.
