A blog called Inside Charm City posted that UMD went ahead and showed a thirty-minute segment of the porn movie that was cancelled last week.
The University got around the threats from the government by adding an "educational component" to the film -- four "experts" speaking about freedom of speech.
Don't forget that UMD also hosted a Shakespeare and Pornography panel not too long ago, as well, but nobody seemed nearly as concerned about that.
I wonder why they decided not to bring in any "experts" to discuss the destructive nature of pornography...
