With the rise of H1N1, my archdiocese just announced the temporary end of physical contact during the sign of peace! Yay!
They also temporarily suspended the awkwardness that has become the Precious Blood...no more droves of people blitzing passed a bored-looking Extraordinary Minister with nary an acknowledgment of What she is holding!
Now, if only someone could convince the bishops that choirs are a source of contagion, we'd be golden...
